INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS

It is time to start saving for retirement with one of our retirement plans. Time Federal Savings Bank has a retirement plan to help you plan for your future.

Traditional IRAs

A Traditional IRA is a special tax deferred savings plan. Individuals who are under 70 1/2 years of age for the entire tax year and have earned income are eligible to open or add to a Traditional IRA. Earnings accumulate tax deferred. The amount of contribution that is tax deductible depends on your income, marital status and whether or not you are an active participant in an employer sponsored retirement plan.

Traditional IRAs are available in two year fixed or variable rate certificates, or a passbook account.

Roth IRAs

A Roth IRA allows you to make non-deductible contributions. Interest is tax free when certain criteria are met. Contributions to a Roth IRA may be made after age 70 1/2 and there is no minimum distribution requirement.

Roth IRAs are available in 1, 2 or 3 year certificates or a passbook account.

SEP Accounts

SEP (Simplified Employee Pension) are available for individuals who are self-employed or own a small business.

SEP accounts are available in two year fixed or variable rate certificates, or a passbook account.
